Today is the Biblical Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShannah) announcing the Messiah Yeshua's imminent return.“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God,”

- 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (compare also 1 Corinthians 15:52).
Shalom, Привет, Greetings and Blessings to you, may the Lord Bless you Greatly on this Biblical Feast day of Trumpets and may the coming year be fruitful to you!

Moses instituted the Feast of Trumpets as the fifth of seven feasts introduced by God at Mount Sinai. Yeshua the Messiah said that he had not come to destroy the Law but to fulfil the Law and to bring it to completion. The Feast of Trumpets is the next Biblical Feast to be fulfilled!

Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah)
“The Blowing of the Shofar” will announce Yeshua’s return – starting 1st day of Tishrei and lasts for ten days until the Biblical Fast of the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) on 10th day of Tishrei.

The Feast of Trumpets depicts the Rapture of the Church and the judgment of the wicked. It is widely held that the “Rapture” is to take place on the Feast of Trumpets when God calls His people together. Again the symbolism is beyond coincidence as this is to be a day of re-gathering and rejoicing.

Since the second century BC (other sources mention the eleventh century AD), this day is celebrated as the Jewish new year: Rosh Hashanah. Earlier (biblically) the new year started on the first day of Nissan! At mealtime, it is customary to eat sweets, such as apples, honey and dates as a symbol of the hope for a sweet and good year to come. Today and on Friday Arian Catholics and other Biblical Christians and Jews throughout the world we will be celebrating the first of the High Holy Day Services, looking inwards.

OriginOn the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets. (Numbers 29:1)
To sound the trumpets is a remembrance of the grace of God towards Abraham, when he supplied a ram as sacrifice at the place of Isaac.

In Israel’s religious ritual, she utilised two different kinds of trumpets. One was long and flared and made of silver (Numbers 10:2). The other was a ram’s horn and is called in Hebrew the shofar.

Fulfilment

The trumpets will announce the second coming of Yeshua:For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, see also I Corinthians 15:51-52)

For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. (Ezekiel 36:24)

New Clergy :-)()
We welcome Deacon Henrik Kiviniemi in Finland to the Arian Catholic Diaconate. Henrik has a Commission to oversee the Church in Finland and is working hard to bring the Gospel to the faithful. Please join us in wishing him well and we send our Greatest blessings in the name of Yeshua the Messiah.

Raising Funds to help the Church
Please help our Church by donating as much as you can afford and help the Church to raise funds through charitable events.

Please hold the Arian Catholic Church in your thoughts and prayers. As there has been an increase in interest in Arian Catholicism over the past few years so too has our need to reach our faithful around the world. We therefore need to train, ordain and recruit new clergy around the world to establish formal presences in every country, however this is not a simple process as it requires a lot of time, training materials, books and travelling, as well as the administration of the Church itself. Moreover we need to reach out to our faithful with the Sacraments, ministerial counselling and support charitable projects around the world.

Please remember every little helps and if you can raise funds for the Church in your region or have a charity that you believe should have the support of the Church then please let us know.
