View Full Version : What about the firstborn right of Ishmael (Pbuh)?

What does the Law say?

"If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated: Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn: But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his” (Deuteronomy 21:15-17)

Maybe you will say "This Law was established during the time of Moses (Pbuh), it couldnt be practiced to Ishmael (Pbuh)" But I will say that this law was practiced during the time of Jacob (Pbuh) while it wasnt revealed yet.

“And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint: And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright” (Genesis 25:29-31)

Than there is a serious problem. Can we say that the Fair God made an unjust work? Or did the racist Jews changed and make the verses harmonic in time to support their claims?

Lets see the present of Ishmael and Esau (Pbuh) in their birth;

“And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction. And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren” (Genesis 16:11-12)

“And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau” (Genesis 25:25)

They both were the firstborn, do you see how they are been presented? One of them a wild man, the other an hairy garment! Can this made to support Isaac and Jacob that they were the fathers of the twelve tribes of Israel?

Lets see what Abraham (Pbuh) did while Ishmael was his first son;

“And Sarah my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath” (Genesis 24:36)

“And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac” (Genesis 25:5)

What does Sarah (Pbuh) say while she was aware about the firstborn right?

"And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac" (Genesis 21:9-10)

Where is the firstborn right of Ishmael? For all hiding the truth, for all changing the message of God, for all the treachery of their promise to God that they should tell the divine message to mankind I think and believe that God took this mission from them and gave it to the Sons of Ishmael according to the firstborn right. I understand this message like; "If you hide the truth of Ishmael, if you dont realize what you promise to Me, if you change my message which I revealed to mankind, dont tell it and change it to a racist message, I the Fair and Almighty God intervent and do the right work.

What did Jesus (Pbuh) say?

“Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them” (Matthew 21:42-45)

Greek (Root form):“touto lego humin hoti basileia theos airo apo humon kai didomi ethnos poieo karpos autos” (Matthew 21:43)

Ethnos has been used 164 times in the Bible;

93 times in the meaning of Gentile, 64 times in the meaning of Nation, 5 times in the meaning of Heathen, 2 times in the meaning of People.

Gentile means a non-Jew or pagan nation according to the Kjv translation. Jesus is speaking to the Jews. Who are the non-Jew or pagan nation which he is speaking about? Who is the stone which is been rejected by the builders? And who is the same stone which became the head of the corner in Lord's doing?

This stone is which its firstborn right is unjustly taken, which God gave the promise that He will make him a great nation, which He gave the promise that He shall raise a prophet among the brethren of the Sons of Israel; ISHMAEL

Peace and Salut be to the all apostle's,

Praise be to Allah.

Primogeniture was not practiced by every culture in every time or place. There is little evidence that it was practiced by this culture in the patriarchal period.
