I have become in belief that the Apostolic Succession is important, though not necessary in all cases where access to it impossible. I must admit that I am not well read in this subject, and thus I need access to facts, lore and proof, plus this Doctrine's relation and dogma to other subjects.
Even though I do not oppose this doctrine, I want to bring up a logical criticism about it. Since the ACC rejects many teachings in the Bible, or derived from it, i.e Luke's account of the "Virgin Birth", by what it justifies some other issues? Where does the source of the "Trurh" lie if we cannot trust the Bible 100 per cent (and I'm not saying that there are not some minor corruption and misinterpretation in Bible)?
There is little support in the Scriptures for the Apostolic Succession and use of Liturgy, so what prevents us from claiming the few things in Scriptures supportive of it being corruption or error?
I support the ACC and want to see good fruit from this critical examination of the doctrine and praxis.
